Sitting on a spectacular 25-acre estate and boasting stunning views of the hills of Montalcino, Villa Leopolda is a true gem of Tuscany’s countryside. This remarkable 7-bedroom 7-bathroom property has been recently restored and tastefully furnished with a fine selection of antiques and exquisite upholstery. The main house and two guest houses share a 2.5-acre garden featuring a zero-edge pool, a large gazebo, and classic wrought-iron furniture. Villa Leopolda is situated in an unspoiled area south of Siena, between the fascinating wine region of Montalcino and the beautiful coast of Maremma. Chianti is only a 50-minute drive away, making Villa Leopolda an ideal location for every wine enthusiast. The seaside is less than an hour away, offering wide beaches overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and two nature parks.

We are just back from Italy and have to tell you that it was a fantastic week at the Villa Leopolda. The villa host was wonderful getting us orientated. Everyone found it easily, all the staff were wonderful; our kids and grand kids were delighted with the pool, accommodations and the food-WOW. My entire family and I highly recommend this Villa. Thanks for your help.

This lovely area of Italy sits between Rome and Pisa, offering expansive, breathtaking views of the islands of Giglio and Elba. Highlights of the area include the unspoiled fishing village of Castiglione della Pescaia, endless stretches of dreamy sandy beaches and the medieval cobble-stoned village of Massa Marittima – lately becoming more and more popular and home to many international artists and socialites. Also worth a visit is the magical and mysterious city of Volterra, with its roots in three thousand years of history. We also strongly recommend visits to the towns of Populonia and Baratti, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, and the chic harbor of Punta Ala. Boat rentals for cruising around the coast and private tours of the region's many acclaimed wineries can be arranged through our concierge.
